Third Grade Time Worksheets
In Third Grade, children learn to read the time in intervals of five minutes. Have your students practice reading, matching and writing analog and digital times rounded to 5 minutes.
Note:
1. These worksheets teach time to 5 minutes, i.e. 0, 5, 10, 15, etc.

Match the Times | |
Create a time match-up worksheet. Ask your students to match the six random clock faces on the left side of the worksheet with the digital equivalent on the right. The times are randomly picked and rounded to 5 minutes. |
Draw the Times | |
Have your students draw the analog time on each of the clock faces. Underneath each clock is a digital time which has been rounded to 5 minutes. Your students need to represent that time with clock hands. |
Write the Times | |
Have your children show their understandng of analog clocks by reading the times and writing the digital times underneath each clock face. The times are rounded to 5 minutes. |
Bingo Sheets | |
Play a few games of bingo with analog clock faces showing times to 5 minutes. Give your children a chance to win by matching the times the teacher calls, on a bingo grid either 3x3, 4x4, or 5x5. |
Time Board Game | |
Another fun way for your children to practice reading analog clocks is with this board game. Print a time board game and have your children roll a die and move their playing piece along the board reading the clock times as they go. Times are rounded to 5 minutes. |
All About Yesterday | |
Write about yesterday with this worksheet wizard. When you make a worksheet, you'll get some random times during the morning, afternoon, evening and night. Your children need to write what they were doing at those times. |
Calendar Questions | |
Try these calendar questions to practice reading days and dates off a calendar. You'll need to give your children this month's calendar so they can look at it and answer the questions. An example of the questions on this worksheet is: What are the dates of all the Fridays this month? |
